Beans and Barley
With Spring Beans drilled ten days ago our attention has turned to drilling some spring barley. Last Thursday we had 13mm of rain in a couple of hours and it has taken 3days to dry out enough to travel.
Conditions are just about acceptable, but this raw Leicestershire clay is keeping us on our toes. We'll have to wait 24 hours before we can roll and then a pre-emergence spray for the blackgrass.
